eFörvaltningsdagarna - Sweden's largest meeting place in e-government and digital transformation

eFörvaltningsdagarna is Sweden's largest conference and meeting place in e-government and digital transformation. The fair is organised by Hexanova and was held at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö. We at Egreement were there this year to meet representatives from the public sector, listen to inspiring speakers and discuss challenges for the future. The impression from the days we think can be summarised with Ann Hellenius' words, CIO Stockholm City - "The best digitalisation is the one that is not noticed but just facilitates".

On the first day, Darja Isaksson, Member of the Government's National Innovation Council, spoke about how Sweden will become a leader in digitalisation. It was clear that we need to talk less and act more. Digitalisation is simply about lowering friction and making life easier.

In the evening, the participants gathered at K-märkt in Garnisonen for a dinner signed by food artist Hanna Normark, wine taster Jens Dolk and Nobel confectioner Daniel Roos. A successful evening that consisted of interesting table talks combined with entertaining stand-up and music performances.

On Thursday, the power went out in large parts of Älvsjö, but that didn't stop the E-Identification Board from holding a seminar on cross-border e-identification in total darkness. The EIDAS committee went through what the regulation "eIDAS" means and concrete advice on the implementation. The regulation means that all Swedish public authorities with services that use e-identification are obliged to accept foreign e-identifications from 2018.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the organiser Hexanova and to everyone who visited our stand to discuss and see how Egreement's services can be applied in your particular operations.
